    GM is a car company, not a ventilator maker. He can stroke anything he wants, they still don't have the ability.

    Whatever the real story is, don't believe his twitter bullshit. GM offered to open one of its shuttered plants and work with a company that does produce ventilators.

    They were asking for a lot of money, much of it upfront, in order to retool the plant to be able to make ventilators. The White House AGREED to it. ... and then had second thoughts.

    Now the bullshit artist is spinning a false narrative.

    I don't doubt that like every pig at the trough with Congress handing out bags of money, GM sees an opportunity here.

    But this is DEFINITELY not his BS narrative of them having promised 40,000 ventilators immediately (no way) and then asking for "top dollar." They need to retool and then figure out how to produce the things. And they are sitting there thinking THEY shouldn't have to foot the cost for that.
