Someone declared the pandemic "over" in my county. As of this morning, there were over eighty cases. Governor Lee sent military personnel to intervene so one of the vectors could be evacuated and disinfected.

I am looking out my window. People are coming and going like they normally do. Two young moms pushing strollers are walking down the street with their children. Everyone is clustered together. There is no soap, alcohol, tissue, and a number of other items to be had anywhere, so someone is worried, just not in my deep red neighborhood where this is all a hoax to make the President look bad. I wish I was wrong and they were right.

 

The shallow end of the gene pool needs a good cleaning from time to time.
