That tweet is misleading. That state sup said they MAY be not returning. So far Monterey County is the only one to officially announce the year won't resume in the classroom. Not to say this won't be true soon but Thurmond didn't make it mandatory.

In my hometown growing up, the North side was considered wealthier, the South side considered poorer. Then we all got together in high school and started comparing: "The North side is the same as the South side, but with better booze."
