Italy's death figures are way off. I see story after story about groups of old people dead but not counted for corona, like folks found dead at home or clusters in old folk's homes. They've just been too busy to fool with the recordkeeping.

 

He sends California broken ventilators. Asked to send scarves to New York, he sends rain gear.
If we cut him some slack, he's incompetent in one case and evil in the other.

So far, no reports of negligence on products he has shipped to the states that worship him.

NYC acquaintance who fled to NH summer home ranting on social media about unfair criticism, I pay local taxes and don't use services, blah blah blah. #EatTheRich

 

Perhaps they should have reconsidered their role in American life before putting the word "hobby" first in their name.

 

My locality has seen a large influx of out-of-staters (particularly NY and CT) coming to their summer homes about 10 weeks early and locals are pissed about it. I understand the rancor, but these people own homes and pay taxes the same as anybody (my kids' school system benefits greatly from these people). As long as they are careful to quarantine themselves as best they can (particularly for that first 14 days), they have every right to be here, IMO. If my family lived in NYC and I had another option, I'd get them the fuck out, too.
