When the right-wing talking point becomes "Hey, maybe death is great, who's to say?" you know we're screwed.

 

So many of these MAGA Christians believe in Heaven, believe they’re going to Heaven yet have no desire to die. Hmmmmmmm....

 

Of course not. Because every nation but the United States always has political leaders who do everything the right way. China lying its ass off - which it has - while running crematoriums all day for a month is better than anything the US has done.

Trump hasn’t been great, no. Mostly, his pressers are spectulative and rambling and kind of uncertain, which reflects the situation but isn’t the kind of clear, concise directives we want. He’s not real uplifting, either.

But, shit, NYC’s Mayor was off too. Fauci downplayed it two months ago. The CDC wasn’t great. It was a team screwup. And it was also a screwup across Europe, too. Are their leaders’ heads gonna roll? Probably not.

In early January, Trump was briefed and informed that this thing was real. He ignored it. To say this was a total governmental failure is inaccurate.
