Buy a Boston Butt and put it in the crock pot. Easy peasy. I did one a few days ago.

I used this recipe because the recipe was dead easy and I had it all, but google slow cooker pork shoulder, there's tons of recipes out there.

Pulled pork is by far the easiest to make at home. This counts for quite a bit these days.

Sure. I've made it my own self. Just not a fan.

I do pulled critterless and pulled critter. For both, I simmer it for a long time in vinegar, a little bourbon, and whatever spices I feel like adding. For the sweet-fiends in the family, molasses and honey come after it's cooked to the falling-apart phase. Emeril is right about some things being worth the time to do in stages.

I've done tenderloin in the crockpot lately - I'd rather roast it, but I don't really have a pan appropriate for an eight-pound roast. Still works out fine - eight hours on low - although there's less fat than a normal pork shoulder or butt, so you need to go heavier with the sauce / seasoning.

Whole hog with eastern NC sauce and slaw. Brunswick stew on the side.

I have changed my hand-washing song to Illegal Smile in honor of the late, great John Prine.

That's the first Prine song I ever heard. It was the theme song for a network show called "the Texas Wheelers' back in '72 or 3. I thought that it was hilarious that such a straightforward dope song would be on NBC.

Decent show. Jack Elam as the gruff grandfather, and Gary Busey and Mark Hamill as brothers.

The casting sounds both insane and compelling.

Not the adaption story I wanted to read. Good luck to y’all in Rat Country.
