Will COVID-19 be the needle that finally bursts the sports bubble?

Forming online support groups with teachers who can no longer find comfort with their students.

The state lege cut education funding after 2008 and never replaced it. That would involve raising taxes, and the R's here would rather cut their dick off on television than breathe the T word. UA System raised the tuition, and well, fucking out of state students does not piss off Alabama voters. UA BoT also made a conscious decision to emphasize non-res students so the school would generate more income. It's gotten to the point that it it pretty difficult for a normal Alabama high school student to get into bammer.

Sorry, mate. We have a piss poor excuse for a state government. Simple as that.

Kentucky Governor said it would be a bad idea to have 60,000 in a football stadium this fall. Who knew Kentucky had that many football fans!?!

(I guess that means no fans at the Derby?)

The PGA is looking at June 11 to restart.

And I think golf is probably the safest sport to be the first to jump in the pool. Take away the fans and it's natural social distancing.

I’m missing sports but mainly because our daughter’s Spring Basketball team is not practicing.

It’s a great group of kids and parents. After an up and down community season we were all looking forward to Spring, including 2 out of town tournaments.

My son’s soccer hasn’t cancelled yet and are doing online training sessions because they don’t want to refund anyone’s money.

I'm seriously considering building a batting cage in my yard so my kid doesn't lose a full year of swings (and maybe I'll get in a few myself).
