As of today, Donald Trump has killed 27,967 people. Every one of my clients was in tears. Almost all of them wanted to process through the horrible, violent thoughts they have about him. Abuse people enough, terrorize them, and someone, somewhere is going to snap. It's been a scary day hearing people get close to their limits.

The protests in Michigan and Ohio make it clear. Trump and his supporters care about no human lives except their own. They are begging to have others apply that logic to them.

If the people are protesting because they can't buy lawn seed and fertilizer and eat at a nice restaurant, fuck 'em.

If they're protesting because they want to work and make a living and pay their bills and not get evicted/foreclosed on . . . I don't begrudge 'em a thing.

Well, there was that one woman who was protesting because her roots were starting to show. She said that on TV. Another Trump Mensa supporter.

Reports coming out from WaPo that Trump is going to try to force both houses of Congress to adjourn so he can do recess appointments.

Constitutionally, I think he can ... at least that's what the Roberts Court will say.
    Article 1, Section 1, Clause 4 says:
Neither House, during the session of Congress, shall, without the consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.
    Article II, Section 3 says:
...he may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in case of disagreement between them, with respect to the time of adjournment, he may adjourn them to such time as he shall think proper.

So if the Senate says adjourn, and the House refuses, he can.
