Opening the country up while the curve is flattening -- like stopping your depression meds because you're feeling better.

Your opinion is your opinion. That’s fair.

This situation that Biden is in, though, is different than what Bush faced in 1988. He went against a candidate with little support, even from Democrats like my parents.

There are progressives, particularly Sanders supporters, who will simply not vote for Biden as is. Polling shows that. Warren would likely change that much more than, say, Harris or Klobuchar. Warren helps push Biden left a bit and that’ll likely bring in those who worry about more status quo politics if Biden is elected.

Just another thing to add to the list. Disgraceful and so overtly petty

Loeffler also thanked the phone company for including her in the latest edition of the phone book and I'm sure she's honored to be asked to participate in the Census

Polling shows the Sanders voters with the most doubts about Biden are not the hard core lefties, but young voters who're less politically knowledgeable and have no strong partisan ID. Hard to see how a VP pick influences them much. Biden would like them, and he might even need them, but how he grabs their attention escapes me for now. Perhaps an aggressive climate change stance, but the pandemic, which sure as hell won't be over by Election Day, will soak up all the political oxygen.

Or like voting in a presidential election for a birther clown from a lousy reality show.

Those young people aren't even Sanders voters. If they had showed up, maybe Bernie would have won more than 3 or 4 states. It's dumb to count on them showing up in any significant way.

He can’t read a script and make it sound like he really means it. They are obviously trying to make him sound empathic today, but he just can’t pull it off.
