Why are these ... these humans ... always yelling? Like, all the fucking time.

They won the American racial lottery. What do they have to be yelling about?

In Nevada's case, especially with Lake Tahoe 15 minutes away.

This is really positive sounding. Gilead has an antiviral, remdesivir, that it was developing for other things,. There was news about a trial they have been running on severe Covid-19 patients in Chicago, and the early results have been positive. ... very rapid recoveries, and most have already been discharged. They are using the same drug in trials in other places. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Gilead data suggests coronavirus patients are responding to treatment

One page into that you hit "Core State Preparedness Responsibilities". Number one on the list is "Testing and Contact Tracing".

Yes, the states need to set up for extensive testing and follow ups to try to detect those who might have had contact. The problem is that the government has failed at a national level to provide tests. Trump can put that on the states all he wants, but nothing will change the fact that he pissed away two months plus that we could have been ramping up in preparation and getting needed tests and protective gear manufactured.

Looking at them, I'm starting to agree.

This sounds like a Dick Cheney smoke signal if there ever was one. Find any documents that could form a kernel when paired with speculation to possibly be linked to a theory - add a few "sources" and leaks to different news outlets (direct them to specific other people to "confirm" story and to repeat said opinion to amplify and "look into" and before you know it a "sources said" story based on speculation and no attribution becomes "fact."

Tom Cotton floated this "theory" without any evidence a month ago. And it seems like conservative media/the White House has been blowing on the embers the last couple of days. Judging by who brought it up yesterday. This article is a week old.

Think Vegas though with regard to Nevada not being in the pact. I imagine they would want a lot quicker reopening with fewer required safeguards.
Imagine a casino where blackjack tables are limited to two people, everyone wearing masks. No craps, no shows, no smoking, everyone wears gloves. Every other slot machine is closed off. It's doable.
