    The experts say it is too early to reopen, but President Trump insists otherwise, so we have idiots doing it anyway.

    President Trump says it is safe to reopen, yet he still wants to use this as an excuse to stop immigration. I'm just wondering why he didn't do that sooner.

    For the record, as of last night, Georgia had the 14th highest rate of confirmed cases per million population among the states + DC and the 16th highest rate of reported covid deaths per million. Its relative rank on Memorial Day should give an idea of how damaging the opening up was. Figure several days until things open up, another week for some people to get over their initial caution, another 10 days to 2 weeks for increased numbers to start having symptoms, and another week or so for the results to show up in testing.
