And then, at about 7:15 pm Eastern time on election night, Putin flipped a switch.

To be determined. Likely sometime around Nov. 3.

I have a better idea. Give me a list of all sj.com posters, past and present, whose ideas did not mesh with the current consensus here --- and who are thought of as "good contributors who provided an interesting point of view and who are missed here."

The number --- or lack of it --- will paint a picture of the diversity of thought this place invites.

Yawn. It was 3:30 a.m. in Moscow, for crying out loud.

How exactly is the Democratic Party supposed to give a "viable alternative" to people who still support the administration after three-plus years of demonstrably and ongoing traitorous and racist acts?

Their support is prima facie evidence of either their stupidity or their agreement; there is no way the Democrats can or should try to offer these people an alternative that they would find acceptable.

Of course, your point about "getting out the base to vote," as was also well put by another poster yesterday, is 100 percent accurate and clearly the way forward to victory for the Democrats.

If only he was in a high political office and could make changes ... Oh yeah.

I don't much like Flake, as he spoke out but didn't have the guts to vote what he said. Still, he bucked Trump and got voted out because of it, so he has some shreds of credibility.

He's still a former Republican Senator who is willing to say that the Emperor has no clothes.

Oh. I guess in Russia they don't have 24 hour internet.

More like the game came down to the final 0.2 seconds, Team Hitlerry had a 7-point lead, then the refs decided to call 12 technical fouls and Team Fatfuck made 8 FTs to win the game.
