Agree that a halfassed China ban did nothing for NY.

 

Understood. I was the one posting about China's fever clinics and fever hotels. Once the quarantine started, everywhere you went in Wuhan you were checked for fever. Go to someone's apartment building, temp check. Go to a public building, fever check. If you had a fever you were sent to a fever clinic. They tested for flu and pneumonia. If positive, that's what you have, you go home. Negative for those were tested for corona. If positive, treated. If negative, sent to a fever hospital to see if symptoms developed. You couldn't go home, no choice about any of it.

At that point it gets to be public health greater good vs. rights and freedoms. The responsibilities that come along with those rights don't get mentioned much by one side of that discussion.

 

Gotta virtue-signal to the klan. This is just a libruhl hoax.

I hope the numbers don't spike. But there is no question social distancing, closing schools, etc., were justified and undoubtedly saved thousands of lives.

 

Or a doctor or nurse should have just handed him a mask. Then he either puts it on, and there's no issue, or he looks like an even bigger ass than he already is for not putting it on.

 

The problem with the “Recovered” total is that several states aren’t tracking it. It’s still useful, but it’s another example of data inconsistencies across jurisdictions.

I’m pleasantly surprised that DC hasn’t been as bad as NY.
Although it doesn’t have NYC’s population density, it does have a major public transit system and an international airport in the region.

 

Anything to increase the President's chances of catching Corona is fine with me.
