Is there a chance the GOP yanks Trump and runs somebody else? He's underwater in Texas.

 

Who would get the call instead? Pence has no national appeal. His only chance would be if Trump dies and Pence becomes POTUS and does something to stop this thing. Every Trumpist has thrown himself all over the Dear Leader in humble supplication. Anybody elevated to nominee would essentially have to admit the failure of the lord and savior, which wouldn't play well with all those "very good people" waving AR-15s in state capitols.
No Trumpist is upset about the virus. They either think it's a libruhl hoax or they're silently cheering it on, knowing it disproportionately impacts libruhls and those unworthy, un-Amurrican black and brown people.
