So we do / do not need a national plan of some kind?

Or at least some sort of coordinated approach?

Based on the best available science?

3700 people have died of the virus in Massachusetts. 2200 of those were residents of long-term care facilities. I know some of those are for people who've lost mental capacity, but are real old folks who're only physically limited going to be willing to live in such places after this if they have any alternative. Will their children be willing to send them there? Will they so readily find low-paid workers? This is a big industry we're talking about.

Had no idea the ratio was THAT skewed toward the facilities.

Nobody goes to one of those places if they have an alternative. That was true before the Trumpandemic.

Number shocked me, too, but I read it in Cape Cod paper story this morning.

I say this as someone who is probably in contention for owning the most guns* among regular posters here.
Anyone who steps off private property like these idiots should immediately be arrested as a danger to public safety.

*I don't own any assault rifles. I don't see the need.
