Even if a vaccine is readily available in October, who outside the 30 percenters believe Trump should be in charge during the next crisis and or recovery from this one?

I have a friend who works in the governor's office here and he tells me of some of the behind-the-scene stuff. We met for lunch the other day (picked up something, at at a park) and we were catching up and I said, "Could you image working on Trump's comms team?" and he said there would be no way in hell.

This is why his comms team, without exception, are right wing propagandists who can effortlessly parrot the party line no matter how often or quickly it reverses itself. No biggie to switch from "Fauci too busy" to "Democrats are mean to our boss."

They think that as time goes on, fat daddy Fatfuck is going to hand out, 1) pardons, and 2) payoffs to all his henchmen and minions.
Out of sheer gratitude and loyalty.

That's right. They think they never have to worry about any repercussions ever, because Fatboy will be grateful for their support and will protect them. He'll make sure no harm comes to them.
And he'll also extend that gratitude to sharing the wealth -- the billions and trillions he's plundering out of the economy -- he'll see that gets spread around too. Because we all know Fatfuck is all about generosity.

Nah, it's simpler that that for the comms. shop. If he wins, they keep their jobs. If he loses, they'll be back on Fox News and talk radio without missing a paycheck.

Totally normal behavior in the White House. No brain issues here

Anyone who takes a job in that shop, especially Comms Director, deserves every moment of misery that follows. It's not like the history of the people at that desk before you does not tell you in advance how bad it will be.
