His swing was very long, as you might expect, and a lot of the times he made contact looked terrible because he thought if he could reach the pitch, he could hit it hard. Had he had swing coaching and the plate discipline you can only get from years of at bats, that would have been different and he still would have had power.

He is esteemed by fellow players, but not embraced. Last night's theme was, "Sociopathic, but a winner so worth it."

It's one thing to spin that as a positive in competition, but I don't think a glimpse into being a husband/father would do him any favors.

His family was famously off limits, IIRC.

Didn't an outlet (SI?) use a picture of his home and/or family and he list his mind over it?

Final episode is just going to be him bitching about anyone who he believes fucked him over that he may have missed.

I think his being an asshole is what separated him from LeBron.

LeBron might be a better human being, but being a dick might win more at that level.

Definitely wasn’t clear in the doc. Jordan did play fall ball (hit around .250) and reported to spring training in February 1995. It sure seemed like he was going to play another season in the minors. He did genuinely seem to enjoy it. But wanted no part of the strike.

And looking back now? It was a bit odd for him to return to the Bulls with about 20 games left in the season.

If I were a betting man, I think Jordan was going to play baseball another season before going back to basketball.

The doc acted like he just woke up one day in March and decided to scratch his basketball itch. It completely left out Pippen's charity game from September 1994.
