PEPFAR, his huge fighting-AIDS-mostly-in-Africa program, also showed that Bush 43 could care about helping people not like himself, and could do so when there was no immediate electoral advantage, and that his administration could mobilize lots of resources and personnel pretty effectively over a sustained period, giving health experts lots of authority. Does any of that sound like our current leader? Katrina certainly suggests that he might not have handled covid very well, but PEPFAR gives reason to think that he might have done ok.

 

The fact that almost a full half of this country buys into this crap... Isn't the US pretty much a third world nation with money? Outside of the blue states, these people are all children of the corn, barn incest orgy mutants.
