I’m pretty sure that Google Translate will soon have an option through which you type in what members of the Trump family said and it provides what they meant to say. The software has been especially difficult to develop because the Trumps themselves often don’t really know what they are trying to say.

He said there would be a vaccine by the end of the year. Barring a medical miracle (which I have no problem praying for, but don't expect) he's completely full of shit.

Trump, in his announcement of his new bigly super dooper virus vaccine research effort, "Project Warp Speed". Faucci would never have let those words out of his mouth.

 

Even if a vaccine is found and sufficiently tested to be proven safe and effective by the end of the year, a longer shot than my winning the US Open, there is as yet no planning for the tasks of producing it in enough quantity and distributing it to enough people.

 

I would hope that there is planning being done on how to ramp up vaccine production to unprecedented levels. I'm not counting on anything more than a few thoughts written on a napkin, though.
