Saw my first political sign in the neighborhood this week, a Trump sign. It only had his name on it. No mention of Pence. And this got me thinking.
Is it customary for an incumbent POTUS seeking re-election to exclude the name of the VP six months out? In other words, did Obama's signage in May 2012 just say "Obama"? Or did it have Biden's name too? I don't remember.
Same question, of course, re: GW Bush and Cheney in 2004, Clinton and Gore in 1996 et al.
