    Morbidly obese isn't an official term, but "severe" or "extreme" obesity would be a BMI of 40 or higher, the way the CDC defines it: Defining Adult Overweight and Obesity | Overweight & Obesity | CDC

    Trump is 6'3". To have a BMI that high, he'd have to weigh more than 325 pounds. He's overweight, but he's under 3 bills.

    The medical definition of “morbidly obese” is being 100 percent or more over one’s ideal body weight, which in Trump’s case would be in a range from 173 pounds to to 195 pounds. That makes “morbidly obese” for Trump somewhere between 346 pounds and 390 pounds, and I’m ruling that “plausible.”

    Well, we can't load him onto a freight scale to settle this, but I would bet very confidently that he's pushing 300 lbs., but he is nowhere near what you find plausible.

    I realize that Trump in his golf outfit is an image that induces horror, but having unfortunately seen it … there’s no way that guy is under 325, and he’s probably well north.

    and like most of us he probably goes up and down in weight

    so, like his actual net worth, we'll never know for sure

    I didn't mean for that post to start a debate about his weight. He is whatever he is. I still love the thought of him settling in to scarf down his quadruple cheeseburger with extra mayo and ketchup and onion rings last night, only to hear Nancy Pelosi call him morbidly obese.

    Side note: I’ve never quite understood the multi-patty thing with burgers, unless the patty is so thin two burgers are one.

    A single, well-seasoned patty, a good bun, don’t overdo all the shit on it.

    (A hot dog, on the other hand, I prefer loaded with shit.)
