Not too closely. We typically buy store brands or BOGO for other things. My bread and saltine crackers are still less than $1. Got bacon for half-price today. Got a buy 2/get 3 free deal on soft drinks and ice cream.

I've never rooted for someone other than a convicted serial killer to die, but ...

Careful. Wishing for the death of someone who has been quite content to let thousands of people die and will continue to do so is just as bad as mass murder. Or so Trumpists would tell you.

I remain convinced that the late night visit to Walter Reed was for either acute indigestion or to hook him up to an IV as they purged his constipation with ultra-powerful laxatives. When you never eat a vegetable...

Here's one reason why FNC - of which I am not a fan - is so powerful: Because it is viewed as the other side of the coin. When longtime media outlets started tilting themselves almost exclusively in one direction, along came Fox News as the counter-programming. Of course it has loons over there. Loons is what you get when the middle is shamed for being the middle.

Do you ever watch television news? Not the cable news, the broadcast network version. To call it slanted towards anything but selling old people patent medicine is just crazy. Or local news, which is slanted towards selling old people new cars? That's how most people get their news. Cable news, even Fox is a niche business. IMO, right wing talk radio, and every town has a station, is much more influential.

My local news is pretty bad unless you're looking for a nice laugh of graphic fuck-ups, hideous B-roll and anchors unaware of which camera is on them. (So, occasionally, I tune in.)

Broadcast news sometimes. Never NBC because I've never liked NBC News.

I don't listen to news talk radio. I imagine it is influential.

Yep, I voted in two federal elections that way 30 years ago.

Genuinely curious ... Do they honestly believe that the Democrats have convinced the entire world to go along with the hoax? Or do they think the media is inventing foreign news now?
