Muh Muh Muh My Corona (virus)

One of the reasons we have a society is that we evolved to recognize and work together to neutralize a threat to the group.

Pretty basic primate stuff.

 

I can think of one election in November that would help.

That is, if the challenger's party doesn't decide to submarine its own candidate because of Congressional votes in the 80s.

 

This is the wholesale stupid I have seen this weekend in northern NJ:

A toll collector in Jersey City just back on the job, wearing his mask UNDER HIS CHIN

At CVS, the cashier shoving the plexiglas shield aside at checkout. "It's a pain to scan through the little hole."

At the pizzeria, a half-dozen people behind the counter, some with masks under their chins, others not covering their nose. I point out the masks are not effective that way. "Thank you for your patronage," the counter guy says.

 

Is that McAuley Culkin, of “Uncle Buck” fame?

 

It exposed the fucking Nazis too.

 

Staten Island has been hit pretty hard, I hear. Good for them. Nice to see after all the crowded beaches and pools. I'm out of patience with the disease spreading fools.

 

Until another group of people, for whatever reason, decide YOU'RE a threat to their group and "neutralize" you.

 

Of course.

Why would it be any different?

 

It has bothered me for a few years that our country is more divided now than it has been since the Civil War. And the reason is the president.
