They're following Florida's COVID lead...don't report the numbers = people aren't infected nor dead (or in this case, unemployed).

#thecouphasalreadyhappened and the fallout's being fastracked

I’ve been told that you don’t have to wear a mask if your head is in the sand.

My assumption is that they were German POWs who died while being held in the US.

And we didn't just ship back their bodies? Wow.

    I foresee a Trumpian response:

"Well, not a lot of people know this but very, very few Americans died in World War II. Less than a hundred I've been told. And then... the Democrats, uh. said, Oh, my goodness, we bought up all this land for cemeteries...."

It may seem odd, but I really don't have a problem with it. Those German soldiers did indeed enlist to fight for Fuehrer and Fatherland. If there were Allied soldiers buried in that cemetery we wouldn't have a problem with their countries' symbols. I do understand why the families of our veterans are upset, Jewish families in particular. There are plenty of cemeteries that contain both Union and Confederate dead, but both sides were Americans.

Probably the simplest answer is to disinter them and send them back to Germany for burial there. Obviously we were not willing to spend the money to do it at the time, but I'd be willing to be that it will be the solution that is implemented.
