Not that I'm in the mood to defend Donald Trump or Republicans these days but this CNN reporter and crew got arrested in a blue state in a bluer city. Which is a sad commentary on its own.

 

As heinous as the incident was, it doesn't rise to the level of first-degree murder. The family and protesters are going to have to live with that, unless they want to answer a lynching with a lynching.
