    I know that. But I would have figured Fox would have incited more of a riot at its HQ than CNN would have.

    CBS covered it as an optional break-in. Affiliates had the choice of whether to take the special report.

    (For perspective, the first few weeks of the Coronavirus Task Force daily newsers were all automatic special reports. After he included the My Pillow guy they mostly became optional.)

    In terms of politics, you're right. But as they say in real estate, location, location, location. Politics is a part of this, but not the whole thing.

    CNN's HQ is next to Olympic Centennial Park, which is where the protest was happening. The protesters just moved next door. (It's also where the cops parked all of their cars, and it looks like they'll all be walking back to the station tonight.)
