Couldn't read the story, but it is amazing how Facebook began to fold in 2016 after the Trumpists demanded an audience in 2016 to whine about alleged mistreatment. Facebook helped hand Trump the election, and it has displayed inconsistent moderation policies since then.
Yet another reason why Trumpists' perpetual gripes of libruhl media bias are bullshit. Their klan owns cable news, social media and talk radio.

Yeah, I figure Trump liked that quote when he first heard about it 50 years ago, so he's kept it inside his head ever since. And now he finally got a chance to play the tough guy, so he whipped it out and figure he'd be badder-ass than Scarface.

 

President repeatedly calls media “enemy of the people,” and media become targets. Rubber bullets, yes, but we all know where the thinking that leads to this sight originates.

I mean, I'd love to blame this on Trump, but cops have been doing this shit forever.

When I was a photog almost exactly 30 years ago police shot two canisters of tear gas at me. I was standing alone. I ducked the first canister, which shattered the windshield of the car parked behind me. The second one came bouncing in at my feet and caked me in tear gas. They were using the powdered form that stays on you and gets worse when you try to wash it off. I was sick for two days. Had to throw away most of the clothes I was wearing.

Police were there because they were called out to a loud party near the college campus. To break up that backyard party they brought out dozens of police in full riot gear. I was directly across the street from them and quite obviously a TV photographer. We were more than two blocks from the party when they gassed me.

This isn't a grand 2020 statement on the media from that cop. A lot of cops are shitty people who think stuff like this is funny.

 

In college there was Tuesday quarter beer at Nick's, a bar near the Dixie brewery in NOLA. The bar was small and the students would hang out on the street. On a Tuesday I missed, the cops showed up, swinging nightsticks. My friend got his head split open, several people arrested. It was not long after that the PD corruption peaked when one officer murdered another.

 

I am so god damn motherfucking thankful for Donald J Trump’s leadership in the midst of these race riots and a global pandemic. What a guy.

maybe the second amendment people should look into him.
