So there’s a DHS memo that says white supremacy supporters were organizing their efforts?

whooda thunk?

 

Two questions:

1. Knowing everything they knew - and knowing that an asphyxiation declaration would be popular and not disputed by an independent assessment, what motivation would Hennepin County officials have to lie?

2. Was there any doubt the independent autopsy would have a different determination?

Either the county officials need to be fired for incompetence and/or rank corruption, or the truth is a little murkier than the second autopsy would like it to be.

Somebody mentioned Spokane, Wash., earlier in this thread. A peaceful protest by thousands Sunday afternoon did turn into looting and mayhem later, but before that happened ...

This was a cool moment, captured by a Spokesman-Review photographer, as some of the police took a knee in solidarity with the protesters:

 

Just took my after-work walk and headed into Carytown in Richmond, where everyone was boarding up their windows. BLM spray painted everywhere. Felt like the night before a hurricane hit.

 

There's a lot of scanner traffic in Chicago saying Michael Jordan got robbed.

 

They did that yesterday in Trenton, NJ also. But afterward people threw bricks at cops.

LIve on MSNBC military police along the White House fence and one of the soldiers was coughing pretty hard into his hand...I'd hate to think all those MPs are going to get Coronavirus. That would be terrible.

Probably a little of both.

The officers' initial report was fiction, immediately disproved by smartphone footage and security cameras. So trusting the official autopsy requires a leap of faith many folks can't/won't make.
It certainly has its thumb on the scale with the fraught "potential intoxicants" mention, even if it takes a few weeks to get a post-mortem tox screen.

Family autopsies tend to produce the result desired by the family.
