She might have heard music that says nothing to her about her life.

 

I didn't say anything about her being a woman. What difference does that make?

I will say it's a sports journalist declaring that the NYT is shaping the narrative in a conservative way, and that speaks volumes about the perspective.

The NYT is timid, huh? It's not timid.

 

Well, he fired the police chief. You can't fire them all.

 

I get tired of sports journalists being moral and sociopolitical beacons. They'd bitch if Dabo said nothing. They bitch when he says something and it's not exactly their political preference. You wanna cover politics, go cover it. (Maybe that's too harsh but this just seems like cheap, easy clicks.)

 

Dabo has proven to be tone-deaf on a lot of issues. He deserves to get called out.

 

He's not paid to be tone-aware, really.

 

If they all turn off their chest cameras before going out and beating hell out of people?

Fucking police unions. There should absolutely be sanctions with teeth. That sort of shit (or more accurately, what happens while the cameras are off and there is no accountability) is why people are out in the streets.

 

So, stick to sports? What a shame you’re being forced to endure that.
