I remember reading somewhere a story that Dick Cheney told about what he was doing during 9/11. He said he was getting ready to go to a meeting, when two Secret Service members came to him and said they were taking him to the bunker. Cheney asked them to wait a minute while he gathered up some papers, the agents told him he was being taken to the bunker NOW, and each of them grabbed an arm and started pulling him out of the office. Cheney said he couldn't even reach for a magazine to read when they whisked him out, and said that he gained a greater appreciation for what the Secret Service does on that day.

As much of an ass that Cheney is, I've always liked that story.

The Trump Presidency has turned into a series of "You complained about this when Obama was President; now watch Trump do it times 10" episodes.

Obama ran up the debt! Trump runs it up even more ...
Obama golfed too much! Trump golfs even more ...
Obama fuels racial division with his words! etc.


"Michelle Obama is so angry! Melania hates being First Lady even more" is just another in the series.

 

Lord, I hope Donald finds Sarah Cooper's feed.

Damn, they've lost some speed off their lying fastballs.
