I see a movie deal for somebody. One of the authors is a sci-fi writer. Another is a porn star. Pretty remarkable bit of reporting on this outfit.

 

No. It doesn't exist. It's one giant libruhl hoax.

 

Questions I haven't been quite able to figure out the answer to: If you test positive as asymptomatic and quarantine for two weeks, does it just go away? Does it stick with you forever? Are you just not contagious after two weeks?

 

No, it's seasonal.

Yup. The virus makes you infectious for a limited amount of time. After that you're not shedding virus any longer.

The point to beware of is that if you get a false positive and quarantine, you can still be infected and have another (and real) infectious period.

I hadn't seen this announcement reported. "At a press conference on Wednesday, the WHO announced it would resume its global trial of hydroxychloroquine, after its data safety monitoring committee found there was no increased risk of death for Covid patients taking it." Guess it would be sort of awkward for the Trump administration to cite the WHO now (not that inconsistency has stopped it before). I do wonder how many of the people who were saying that Trump was pushing a proven-to-be-dangerous treatment will say that maybe it's worth studying after all.
