    If this is true, it says a whole damn lot about the type of people hired by that police force.

    This is exactly why an outside source needs to field police complaints.

    We all know this is tucked up, and we all know nothing would have happened if she complained.

    My pet peeve on this is that in haste to put something up, the story implies that these cops have quit the force altogether. They haven't. They have abdicated this particular assignment, but they remain on the force.
