I can't believe you're not interested in watching Drake play Lamar in the Virgin Islands. Are you even a fan of sports? /s

The MEAC has taken a hell of a hit in recent years. Hampton left for the Big South and North Carolina A&T is about to do the same. Savannah State dropped to DII. Winston-Salem State came up for like a year and immediately dropped back to the CIAA. Delaware State has wanted out for years. Bethune-Cookman ought to leave and join the Atlantic Sun, since they'd have Stetson, Jacksonville and North Florida right there as regional rivals. And FGCU isn't that far away either.

I do. I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm not depressed over it or anything, but I miss the rhythms and routines sports bring. Can't wait to have real PGA Tour golf back on Thursday, and can't wait to watch Watford and Leicester on a Saturday morning in a couple of weeks.

Just endured another Saturday with nothing to do. Saturday went from being the best day of the week to the worst day of the week.

I miss sports. I really do. And the fact the ratings for a celebrity golf match were through the roof indicates I am not alone. I will also admit, however, that the fan-free games on TV now are a little off putting and I am not that enthusiastic about the NHL and NBA restart plans. I'd feel the sports universe was getting back into balance if the leagues had all just said, "we're starting over with next season." Just take the L and move on.

I get your point, but we're going to be fan free/fan limited in sports for a very long time, and I don't think we would be able to start in a "normal" fashion in the NBA and NHL in October anyway. The fan free part of the Bundesliga doesn't bother me as much as that I just never invested in that league and I don't really care. Premier League and NHL? Sign me up. Fans or no fans.

Easy to say when it's not your multi-millions to say, eh, F it.

I'm just a customer. No trying to be more. Just how I feel. But I bet I'm not alone.
