Oh, I think both sides of the political aisle are interested in re-education. Let's be honest about that. The left seems more interested, frankly.

 

The Right seems more interested in de-education.

 

Sure if you consider the left's idea of properly funded schools featuring supports that actually allow everyone regardless of race and socioeconomic backgrounds to receive a proper education as "re-education."

 

Are these people new to politics? That has been the baseline for any President running for re-election

 

C’mon. You don’t think the left is interested in reframing *every* debate as some large, systemic matter that requires unlearning X and relearning Y? In some cases I even agree we need to unlearn and relearn. But let’s not live in fantasyland. Concede at least that much. You can’t impugn the relentless stupidity of the right and simultaneously say the right is the side pushing more for enlightenment.
