It is however Juneteenth, the longtime informal African American holiday for the end of slavery. Date of the last surrender of Confederate forces in Texas. I don't think there's much doubt Trump is going to run on one platform -- white supremacy. It's all he's got left.

Somebody tell me if I'm wrong to raise these questions.
I have scanned several Oklahoma media sites -- Tulsa World, TV stations -- and they're all running with the story that a rally will be held in Tulsa. It's certainly true that the Trumpist National Committee and its Oklahoma klan have put out statements saying so.
But in all the reports I have read so far, the text says it's gonna happen and leaves it at that. None of the stories has even referenced the fact that the official releases have failed to specify a venue. None of the stories references whether large, jammed, mask-less indoor events can take place in the state. Is the klan rally going to be indoors or out?
Obviously, none of these questions has an immediate answer.
But shouldn't the initial story at least acknowledge that readers may have these questions and that the outlet has asked them and is awaiting response?
We all know why this happens: Breaking News must be placed into the public domain at once no matter how incomplete. That's life. But would it kill you to say, "The Trump campaign says it's coming to Tulsa on June 19. Specifics -- such as the venue and time -- remain uncertain. We're working on it."

His first rally back isn’t in a swing state? Well, I guess he needs to work out some new material on the true believers.

The fact that there are so few principled Republicans on the issue of voter access is an outright disgrace.

He just wants to go where he'll be loved. He made it clear that he won't tolerate any venue that has distancing requirements because they reduce the crowd size. And he wants his klan rallies to look as they always have. Crowded. White.

Somebody with more skills than me should tally up how many Union soldiers died in battle against Bragg, Hood and Benning.

Bragg and Hood (especially as he rose above the division level) stand out as two Confederate generals who did their very best to help the Union win the war.

Bragg was Trump-like in his ability to turn subordinates against him.
