Here's a June 8 story from the local CBS station:

Fort Worth Police Chief Ed Kraus Drops Charges Against Rioters During George Floyd Protest

Fort Worth Police Chief Ed Kraus announced Monday night, the police department is dropping rioting charges against those arrested on Sunday, May 31, while protesting the death of George Floyd.

Fort Worth Police arrested 50 people for rioting during that protest.

Each person will be notified by letter that their charges have been dropped, the Fort Worth Police Department said.

“Since that time, the protests in the City have been peaceful,” Chief Kraus said. “The protestors have expressed their anger over police misconduct and have demanded changes. The cry to reform the police profession is echoing across our nation, and we must start here at home.”

Chief Kraus said the department hears the voices for change and reforming police tactics.

“Words are a start, but must be backed up with action,” said Chief Kraus in a statement. “To that end, I am dropping all charges for rioting that have resulted from the protests in Fort Worth, and each individual that was arrested for that violation will be notified by letter that their charges have been dropped. This is just one step on a long journey, but I hope it shows that the FWPD is committed to walking the path of reform with our community.”

I haven't seen the Tucker Carlson clip. What, exactly, did he get wrong?

Worst press release ever. “Mr. Tucker” is the first clue that the author is not a full time public relations or other communications professional.

It's an interesting topic. It really is. I'm anti-charter, but the kids gotta get back to school. Gotta get back.

Kids gotta get back to school or nothing else can really return to normal levels of activity. But the first teacher, staffer, or God forbid kid that comes down with the virus and that city or town's school system will reshut immediately.

Depends on the size and location of the district.
If the schools in Duval County/Jacksonvile open in August, a few cases will not close them. Why not? Because the klan rally/coronation is set for Aug. 27. They have to give off the appearance that all is well. Closing schools will invite questions.

Trump's DOJ has filed for an injunction to stop Bolton's book from being released.

Ship a copy to the Post or Times and have them publish excerpts. Injunction runs up against Pentagon Papers. Of course, no one should buy this book from this complete piece of garbage human. Make him give away the juicy parts for free.
