    T. Boone Pickens was an oilman and is dead.

Which BCS Championship Game did Gundy coach in?

I know. That's why I said I have no idea who the new T. Boone Pickens is.

The new T. Boone Pickens likely agrees with Gundy’s beliefs and wishes that he could force the “student-athletes” to watch OAN as part of “voluntary”’football activities.

My guess is that he didn't become an embarrassment to the people of Oklahoma until about 5 hours ago, when he apologized for loving OAN.

That would hardly make him an embarrassment to the people of Oklahoma, who voted for Trump by ≥ 30% in 2016 and will be happy to do so again.

Got it. The cause for shame is not the support but the unnecessary, libruhl-coerced apology. Agreed.

And 2-13 against their top rivals down the road can't help his case.

Oklahoma State has won 18 out of 114 meetings against OU. I don't think anyone at OSU sees that matchup as a reason to get rid of a coach

In reading the text of today's alleged apology from the Mullet of the Plains, I'm curious.
"Once I learned how that network felt about Black Lives Matter, I was disgusted and knew that it was completely unacceptable to me," he said.
When, pray tell, was this moment of revelation? The statement implies that it occurred on Tuesday. And this begs one question: Why didn't Monday's dust-up compel him to investigate and learn of these views on, you know, Monday?
He's full of it. He suspected or had reason to suspect what OAN thought about Black Lives Matter months ago. And you know what? He's on board with it.
