Running racism in America thread

Well, now he has Nestor so it all is good.

 

Hard to believe they couldn't come up with anyone better than a Confederate Veep. Don't most states rotate their representative statues a bit. Hell, Ty Cobb was just as racist, and he's way more famous. MLK seems like a no-brainer if he's not already represented in the Capitol. Other better choices would be Ray Charles, Jimmy Carter, Bobby Jones, and the list goes on...

 

Well nobody could stand the son of a bitch when he was on Earth, so why would they want to have a statue?

I was just saying if they have to pick a racist - there are more significant and successful ones than a Confederate veep. I checked the list - plenty of Confederates in the Hall of Statues - but also more Native Americans and women than I would have guessed as well.
