100% Correct. Also 100% old. Now is now, March was a decade ago as far as what we know about the virus. Your point's valid but incredibly outdated.

My kid wore a mask (Incredibles 2) to his doctor checkup the other day. He still shits his pants.

    That really should not matter.

There is no enlightenment we've come across relating to virus spread that would necessitate a 180-degree U-turn regarding masks. Mouth. Nose. Do not touch. Old and still good guidelines.

People were wearing them in every photo we saw in January and February. We knew then it spread by respiratory droplets.

Masks were never a danger. They were always an added layer of protection. Nothing more.

Why we would make an extreme decision to shut down an economy without first taking steps to see that people were properly masked . . . well, it's not on my conscience.

Nor is sending people out to work on my conscience, either.

I wouldn't go to a doctor who still shits his pants, but such is the state of American medicine these days.

All that is true and fine points.

I guess what bugs me is this incessant desire to blame RED STATES, posting update after update about case records.

    And ignoring this.

California sets new COVID-19 cases record. Will it impact Disneyland? - Deseret News

You want to say we have a reopening problem? Fine. But quit the Trumpist states crap. Everyone's guilty.

Except all along, California has tried to listen to science, left discretion up to the counties if they need to slow down, has mandated masks and even in your article, it notes California might take a step back on what is allowed given cases.

And our biggest county has seen a decline in new cases. These California counties have seen a surge in coronavirus cases since reopening. Of course our more conservative counties are seeing sharp increases.

On a separate note, Salt Lake City is writing a story about Disneyland might not be able to reopen?

Some places have been more careless than others. Some have other factors driving the spread. You are too stubborn or too stupid to recognize the difference. Perhaps it is a bit of both.
