You ad 30 minutes to the front end of Baskerville to introduce characters and you have a movie.

Baskerville is a stand alone episode.

Episode 1, A Study in Pink, is 90 minutes. Either one blows Knives Out out of the water.

    Disagree. Great, not merely good.

    Ad Astra

    Pretty darn good sci fi.

Slow moving, but well worth it.

Clash of the Titans. The old one. The good one with Olivier chewing scenery and all of those cheesyrific Harryhausen monsters.

"Knives Out". We really enjoyed it, other than the hideous excuse for a southern accent that Daniel Craig trotted out.

My wife the print geek stopped the credits and rewound so that she could admire the typeface of the end titles.

Holy shit. A Noel Coward script. God, I hope they do it justice. With Dame Judy Densch as the soothsayer yet.

    7500 - Decent thriller with Gordon-Leavitt (who's a tremendous actor.)

Agreed. However, his REC show is big cringe.

Great cast but the words "Based on Noel Coward" make me nervous ...

    Sigh.

I love the original. If you need something to watch I imagine it's streaming somewhere.

I liked lots of it but felt like there was a really good, more dramatic ending once Pitt reaches the Lima Project, and it just doesn’t happen. At some point it has to be less about atmospherics and contemplation and more “do you have a screenplay with scenes that live up to that moment?”

I just wish someone had taken James Gray by the proverbial facemask and said: No, go write some good dialogue for this.
