2020 NASCAR Thread

    What a mess. Nascar can only hope that some really resourceful and/or well-connected fan somehow snuck in and did it, rather than have to face facts that such blatant racism and stupidity lives in the garage. All that good PR from the confederate flag ban only to have it undone by, basically, one of your own.

    Only if it was a driver, and it was probably not even a team member. Gonna be some locals in the garage as security and what-not. I remember some of those folks as being unreconstructed.

    Yeah, you'd almost have to think it was a local. If it was a NASCAR traveling regular, they would have had plenty of opportunities before now.

    Found a story from 87 where Ribbs credits Petty for going out of his way to make him feel welcome. Guess he really is The King.
