Funny how baseball is. I’m watching Dodgers-Expos 1981 NLCS Game 5 on MLB Network and in talking about the Expos roster and farm system, Dick Enberg said “This isn’t a one-time playoff. We’re going to see the Montreals around for a long time.” It sure looked like it at the time.

If the best thing Zobrist did with the Rays was get married, I stand behind my comment. Can't give Huff credit for Zobrist 2016 when Zobrist went to two other clubs before landing with the Cubs.

 

Zobrist was a much better player for the Rays than Huff, who loses any benefit of the doubt by revealing what a POS he is

 

Yeah, him being a bigger dick than Ron Jeremy had me jump in the shower after I brought up 2010. Then I was all in and couldn't give up. That said, Huff in 2010 got his money's worth. And I side with Bauer that his 2012 ring was a participation trophy.

They ought to let Fart run the late-night programming block for MLB Network. I promise it would be fucking lit.

Better than a recording of Verducci on the comically short season, anyway.

 

As much as I despise Huff, I have to admit Huff was a major reason why they won the division, without him, they don't score enough to win many games. Of course, at that time he had not shown his true colors to us fans.

 

I’m sure the author of this piece is deeply disappointed and will keep doomily intoning that a season should not occur.
