    Thanks for that.

    I don’t think I will.

I can think of one pretty big remaining issue that has yet to be resolved. It’s floating out there.

Maybe MLB and the MLBPA gets this right and by the end of the playoffs we've forgotten that it was only a 60 game season.

I thought back today to the Nats-Astros WS and how the Nats beat a rotation of Verlander/Cole/Grienke, that was pretty cool (not to mention coming back on the Dodgers). I sure hope we get something similar but all that travel? There are going to be infections and here's hoping for everyone's safety.

A few things I'm seeing on teh Twitterez.

    1. 60 games against divisional teams, remaining 20 against teams in division in other league (East v. East, ect.).
    2. NL teams will use DH, even against other NL teams.
    3. If a game is tied after nine innings, the 10th starts with a runner on second.
    4. Training camps to be held in home cities.

The third item is preposterous. My fear is that it becomes permanent.
As to the fourth item, cases are rising in 20 of the 27 unique counties that are home to the 29 US teams and for which specific records are available. (Hopkins doesn't break out the counties of New York City.)

There could be a big number of positive tests over the next week or two. I think MLB and NBA expect this. Lots of people involved, getting tested on a near-daily basis.

NBA was smart to have a plan in place weeks ago so anyone positive can quarantine. And if asymptomatic or mild case, be ready on July 31.

It'll be tougher for MLB with only one week until report date. Some will miss significant time in a short "spring."

There's the real possibility whole teams have an outbreak and the whole thing is wrecked. Or, they could pull it off.
