Hoping they'll take one out of hockey's postseason and go back to normal rules in the playoffs. But I doubt it.

I did a feature where Jim Fanning said drugs ruined that team

About half of the Rangers and Astros games will be on the West Coast and ending after midnight CT, so few will be watching.

No doubt drugs wrecked the Expos' potential. Petty bickering too. They all hated Gary Carter.

Montreal was reputed to be the place to score coke around the league at that time.

The stuff with Huff is pretty boring jock crap, but when Schilling gets involved Bauer takes it to a new level. Well done.

They've been doing the runner on second thing in the minors for a few years now. People down there seem to like it, because games rarely get past the 11th or 12th inning. But winning and losing games isn't really the point of the minors, either, so who cares down there? Extra inning games in the majors really get fun when you get to the 13th or 14th inning and absurdity creeps in (pitchers pinch-hitting, position players pitching, etc.). I can get why they're putting it in for this year, but I sincerely hope it's not permanent.

I have faith that, even in a 60-game season, the Orioles will still find a way to lose 100 games.

So the schedule math works like this:

10 games vs. each division opponent (5 home, 5 away).

4 games vs. each interleague opponent.

My guess is 1 interleague series each to cut travel. If that’s the case, it won’t be possible to play equal number of games home and away. It will be 32-28 either way. That’s a problem.

Nah, gotta figure interleague will be home/away two-game series.

That's what I'm seeing, and teams will only go to a stadium once.

So the Rockies would have a five-game series at Dodger Stadium, then have a two-game series at Angel Stadium. Same with going to the Bay Area, five games at San Francisco, two at Oakland.
