In other words, I haven't had nearly enough coffee this morning to deal with crazy.

One of the things we never talk about here is the cost of treatment to those who get C19, are hospitalized, and survive.

In many cases the bills are unimaginable.

Also, what are the longterm health implications for a 4o-year-old who survives an infection? Lungs, liver, heart, immune system. All possibly compromised.

What happens when C19 becomes a pre-existing condition for millions of us?

Don't worry. The current "administration" is working furiously to get rid of preexisting condition coverage for everybody.

But the real problem is the libruhl media’s campaign to cancel sports.

The so-far lower fatality numbers indicate we are heading to de facto age segregation due to the virus. Old people and others at higher risk hiding at home as much as possible, while younger ones do as they will. People over 65 and those with preexisting medical conditions are roughly one-third of the populace. Gonna be tough to regenerate an economy without their participation.

So rather than make masks mandatory for example, we've imprisoned tens of thousands of retirees.

Read around about the emotional toll this kind of isolation takes, whatever your politics, and you begin to see the real cost of the leadership vacuum and our indifference to planning.

All those people in crowded apartments in March staying the fuck home (as ordered) did so without masks (as told to) and therefore caught a virus they didn't need to catch from infected family members.

Thanks, CDC, WHO and US Surgeon General.
