Many do not want to let “Drumpf” credit himself with the return of sports.

I say: There are many other reasons to criticize “Drumpf.”

Are they still playing doubles matches?

No. But let's not kid ourselves: Sport leaders have a rational fear of criticism from the media at this point. Sportswriters cover an institution and we live in times that are resistant of institutions of all kinds, including major sports.

Haven't seen any (but then, TV treats doubles like the plague anyway). They're barely playing singles matches. No-ad, first to four games wins.

Because they want to be unemployed themselves. OK. Perfectly sensible.

"Mass boycott" is an interesting, contemptuous phrase. What if they see any of their teammates sickened by this disease? Would departure constitute a "mass boycott"? Or might it be more fairly termed a proactive, protective measure?

If the President of the NFLPA is correct, health risks of playing football under these conditions may not be mere hype conjured up by libruhl media eager to imperil their own jobs.

MLB has done a very good job of creating safety around the sport’s return. But players may boycott the return anyway out of protest for playing at all, that their rights aren’t being respected, etc.

Let me know when this happens and if the claim is without merit.

The testing has been butchered. The lab in Utah didn't seem to realize we had a holiday weekend last weekend, thereby holding up test results for entire teams. In another case, the officials scheduled to administer tests didn't show up.
