    Here are the first words of the NPR report:

    “Facebook's decisions to put free speech ahead of other values represent "‘significant setbacks for civil rights.”

    Hell, that could be said of a library, couldn’t it?

    One of the chief transgressions: “Keeping up posts by President Trump that "clearly violated" the company's policies on hate and violent speech and voter suppression.”

    Again: A TV network broadcasting one of Trump’s pressers is guilty of that, I’d think.

    Even better guy than that. The Manhattan DA announced that they were charging her with falsely reporting an incident and gave her an appearance ticket, but he is not cooperating with their investigation.

    My thought when I read about the charges was that her life had already been destroyed enough as punishment for what she did, and a grandstanding DA looking for votes in the next election was not doing more justice.

    Apparently Christian Cooper agreed. What a good guy.

    “On the one hand, she’s already paid a steep price,” Mr. Cooper said in a statement on Tuesday. “That’s not enough of a deterrent to others? Bringing her more misery just seems like piling on.”
