I was thinking the only ones people will be interested in will be the ones that will draw fans. The December bowls have shown to be masters at "social-distancing" people.

Notre Dame could hypothetically choose to participate in an ACC league-only schedule.

Y’all realize which program is really up the creek and looking for its paddle right now? BYU. The B1G announcement just lopped two games off its schedule (Sparty and the Gophers), and its membership in the West Coast Conference doesn’t help it at all.

At this point, I will bet real money there is no college football season whatsoever. It's the percentage play. This Big 10 move is one of those weird contingency plans that'll never work, like the idea of having kids in New York City go to live action school 2 or days a week and do remote the other days.

I don’t know if Trump could survive fucking up college football too.

I can't figure any way things are going to be better in March than they are now (based on the first four months)

The problem with spring football is the NFL draft. What eligible prospect is gonna play either right before or especially right after that happens? They will pull hamstrings or develop a suspicious cough or just plain say they won't.

A spring season up against the NFL draft will put the phrase "It Just Means More" to the test.
SEC fans will be mighty disappointed when their players select professionalism over dangerous amateurism. And the fan-centric message boards will be interesting.

Thing is, if they don’t play, how can any team know for sure if they didn’t Maurice Clarett their off time?

If they somehow play in the spring, wouldn’t the NFL adjust its draft schedule? I’d think so.

There are four Saturdays in both March and April. Five in May.

So, theoretically, you could salvage 12-game seasons, get them over on May 22, with some kind of minimal bowl schedule on Memorial Day weekend.

Early March games in northern states would be pretty comparable to November in the fall. You'd have some snow bowls, but by April you'd be back in the 40s for the most part.

Of course all that stuff is far far down the worry list.
