That tweet is "no longer available," wonder what prompted him to take it down?

All good as far as I'm concerned.

An actual apology. What is the world coming to? Common sense, decency and manners are not extinct!

When you F up, just say so. Apologize. And we're done. There are bigger fish to fry. By doing so, this story is over with.

Michael Kopech of the White Sox has opted out. It's not on MLB.com yet and I don't have access to The Atlantic.

    HA! Athletic. (Senior moment.)

Apparently one of their writers had the specifics of why Kopech opted out, and not because of his Tommy John. I'm assuming the details will eventually come out.

EDIT: It's quite possible I have a boxscore from the Brooklyn Atlantics vs. Philadelphia Athletics game I covered in 1872.

We chuckle at that because they're often confused. When Jemele Hill joined the ATLANTIC, there were a lot of comments about her joining THE ATHLETIC. I sometimes wonder why I'm getting a work email on my personal address when The ATLANTIC sends me something.

And I hear you on senior moments.
