Because we haven't had a federal execution in 17 years, DOJ just had to rush to get it done in the middle of the night.

That was Rocky IV and Ivan Drago. But, seeing as how it refers to seeing phantom images of evil Russians, that makes it suitable to use in reference to Trump.

And Apollo was so out of line at the press conference, getting angry after Ludmilla lavished praise on him only because she had the nerve to say, "It could be a good victory."

Prior to the pandemic, we were in the midst of a secular trend toward automation. It was already starting to cause a lot of displacement. That automation is technology dependent, obviously, which means it is hardware intensive. ... and requires a lot of software programming. Which is why the skills necessary for coding jobs were already in pretty good demand.

What we are seeing now is that the pandemic is accelerating that trend. It is going to likely mean that a lot of the jobs being lost are going to be replaced by automation permanently. That will mean a lot of displacement. It also frees up resources for all kinds of things that we are not imagining now -- that is where the jobs will be, even though it is always hard for older people to make those transitions as they occur, and predicting those areas prior to the demand being there can feel impossible. In the mean time, one place that trend will be creating jobs is in the areas required for the trend itself, and that includes programming. So yeah, my guess is it probably isn't bad advice, either.

More power to you, @Justin_Rice but I employ about 10 coders and only one of them is in the US.

If you're a reasonably competent recent-college graduate with a computer science degree, I could get you an interview tomorrow.

    Your mileage may vary.

    Driftwood-

Donald Jr. is pretty easy to size-up.

He's a lifetime zero ... one of those male cheerleaders without the charm.

I remember an American South that could spot the Yankee fraud inside five seconds. Those days are over.

$327 million and that fund still can't help anyone hit a curveball.
